Notes from the Webmaster

Just a few things: This is my first webpage, so what it lacks in content it makes up for in effort - to learn HTML , FTP , AOL and a bunch of other scary acronyms. I haven't been on-line in ten years - since the days of 2400 Baud and Electronic Bulletin Boards. I used DOS and Norton Commander on a 286 and overnite downloads were not uncommon. The web is a fascinating, evolving place - which is what I would like this page to become.

I wanted to share some links that I have found:

If you have AOL and you're tired of being nagged about being idle or getting disconnected- you need to check out this program.

If you surf the web like I do and need to keep track of site addresses but can't stand the so-called bookmark programs - download this simple, free program. (Requires Winzip to uncompress it.)

Interested in HTML and need an editor? This is the one I use. Check out CareWare -A VERY interesting piece on being grateful...
